Hi! I’m Garrett M. Belnap, and I’m a content creator in the Brigham Young University AdLab known for my wide range of interests and experiences. I was born and raised in China until 5 years old, moved to Geneva, Switzerland for two years, and then to Atlanta, Georgia until I finished high school.
I love movies such as Schindler’s List and Hunt for the Wilderpeople. I’ll listen to Keith Jarrett’s Koln Concert while studying, blast Kanye West in the car, then Mozart at the gym. I’ve worked in a warehouse, in door-to-door sales, in security, and as a tutor. I won the outstanding delegation award at the 2024 International Model UN Competition. I went to the Dominican Republic to build a school. As you can see, I have interests in a lot of areas.
I want to work with and for people who are making the world a better place. Visual media is powerful and I want to use its power to benefit the world as a whole and to benefit the lives of individuals, whether in filmmaking or advertising.
